The Red Rooster All Australian Jamboree was the dream of Sandra Smith on a drive home from a Country Music Festival where very fewAustralian composed songs had been sung. The Jamboree has a great family friendly atmosphere in the old Barn over three days and nights at the Charters Towers Showgrounds, coodinated by the Gold City Country Music Club.

Michael Boyd Memorial Spirit of the Festival was awarded to Ron Sellars for all his help over the weekend
