The Red Rooster All Australian Jamboree was the dream of Sandra Smith on a drive home from a Country Music Festival where very fewAustralian composed songs had been sung. The Jamboree has a great family friendly atmosphere in the old Barn over three days and nights at the Charters Towers Showgrounds, coodinated by the Gold City Country Music Club.

Promoting the Red Rooster All Australian Jamboree

The Members of Gold City Country Music Club Inc. went to Townsville and performed at the Cotters Market. Our aim to let everyone know that the Red Rooster All Australian Jamboree was still on. This photo was taken when we had finished and unfortunately is missing Carol & Wally Wheatley who had to go back for the birthday party for their granddaughter Kie. It was great to see a lot of our new club shirts around. We had a great time.
